Registration Information
THINGS TO KNOW:
Friday September 6th to Sunday September 8th, 2024
In order to register for the exercise event: you must be a member or a recognized agency through the CalOES system, you must be an active member, you must be in good standing, you must have a DSW signed on file, and your SAR coordinator must have approved your attendance.
Once you register for the event and make the payment by card, you will receive a link to register for classes. Please note, classes and class sizes are limited so they are offered on a first come first serve basis. If your agency is paying for you and others by card, please provide the individual invoice link to the person responsible. If you agency is paying by check, you can proceed with out payment.
Check-In will begin on Friday September 6th, starting at 1200-1600 at the Springville Rodeo Grounds. Check-in will resume at SCICON from 1600-1800. No early arrivals are authorized .
Registration closed September 3rd at 0800. We are unable to accommodate refunds as of 08/15/2024.
LODGING:
SCICON offers: cabins, trailer/RV parking, and tent spots on site. Trailer, RV, and tents spots are limited and will be available on a first come first serve basis. You can select your lodging on the Event Registration form. If you wish to stay off site or are only attending for the day, please indicate so on your registration form. We will try and place agencies together as best as we can.
Please note, if you select Trailer/RV, your Trailer or RV must be under 40ft and disconnected from your vehicle upon arrival.
PRICING:
Registration fee is $130 (includes: Classes, food, lodging, and T-Shirt)
If you are a 2024 SAREX Instructor OR a TCSO SAR volunteer/deputy, there is no registration fee. All other attendees will be required to pay a $130 registration fee prior class sign ups and the event.
PAYMENT:
All registration fees are due prior to check in.
Upon completing your Event Registration Form, you will receive a link to pay by card for the price associated to the form completed. Please note, only one invoice/register can be paid for at a time.
If your agency must pay at a later date by check, they can email sarex@tularecounty.ca.gov to arrange payment.
Checks can be made payable to: Tulare County Sheriff's Foundation with the memo SAREX 2024.

Please ensure all checks indicate the person(s) in which the check covers. Once the check has been sent, please email sarex@tularecounty.ca.gov to notify us.
CHECK-IN:
SAREX check-in will begin at the Springville Rodeo Grounds Friday September 9th, at 1200 hrs to 1600 hrs.
Check-in will resume at SCICON from 1600 hrs to 1800 hrs.
All attendees will receive an email the week of with late arrival instructions.
