Meals and Lodging

Dining

Breakfast, sack lunch, and dinner is included in your fees and will be provided by the SCICON food service staff.

Overnight Accommodations

SCICON is a school facility that will be offering two types of overnight accommodations: student cabins and camping. All accommodations are within a 5-minute walk of the John Muir Lodge.

Student Cabins

Student cabins are one-room buildings which sleep 12 people. The cabins will be non-coed rooms with sectioned male and female cabins. The cabins are very comfortable with bunk beds, carpeting, heaters, ceiling fans and air conditioning. The cabins are located very close to centralized restrooms and showers. SCICON has a total of 18 student cabins which are situated in two villages of nine cabins each. We will try to pair up teams the best we can as permitted. Please not, all attendees must bring their own bedding (sheets, pillow, blanket, etc.) for their stay.

Camping

There is a small section for RV and tent camping that will be given on a first come first serve basis upon registration. SCICON's recreation field accommodates tent, trailer or RV camping. There are no individual fire rings, barbecue grills or other typical campground amenities. Additionally, no trailers over twenty-six feet (26’) permitted on the grounds.

At this time, we are no longer accommodating Trailers or RVs at Scicon as all spots have been assigned. Additional accommodations for RVs and Trailers are available off campus at Mountain Home State, East of Scicon.

At this time, we do have spots available for tent camping.

Once you have registered for the event, please contact Erica Escalante at eescalante1@tularecounty.ca.gov to select your lodging. Spots will be given on a first come first serve basis.
